Hayden and I decided that Spring is here! We saw our first dandelion of the year! He knows that Spring is when Baby Brother will be here! Any day now! The sooner the better in my book. I was at the doctor yesterday and she guessestimated him at 7.5 pounds right now and he should be gaining 1/2 pound to 1 pound a week. So if i go to the due date he'll be about 9.5 pounds, so now would be better with the whole birth thing in my book! He is in the "position" for birth and is causing me no pain! I really can't complain this pregnancy has been a breeze so far.

Its been nice enough for Hayden and I to go on walks after work this week. He has been riding his bike and he flies on that thing. We are ready for summer over here! Jason and Hayden have been out golfing a few times already too! Jason said the course has been pretty busy and they've had to double up with random people and Hayden is always entertaining them! Hayden's big feat this year so far is that his ball skipped over the water on a pond 3 times and hit the bank and was in! He was very proud of this. Hayden also putts all day long in the house with his little putting green. He also has become a basketball shooting pro. He stands across the living room from his hoop and makes it 75% of the time!

We will be keeping everyone updated on the progress of Baby Brother, which hopefully will include his blog debut, soon!

As many of you know I love to save money! And with Carson on the way my spending isn't exactly equalling my saving! But I've found a few ways to save money which is quickly adding up to savings.

Kmart lately about once a month is offering double manufacturer's coupons up to $2.00. Which is HUGE on diapers! I've been saving $3.00 a pack on Pampers and Huggies. I can't seem to find $2.00 off coupons for diapers, only $1.50! But I bought 3 packs this week of diapers with the price per diaper just under .16 per diaper. Kmart also had diapers on sale this week, which are the normal Target diaper prices, but Target can't beat the doubled coupons!

I also have been signing up with all the baby companies to receive their newsletters and coupons which equal free samples too! I've received 2 full sized formula cans and 1 smaller size. Plus 2 one day samples. I do plan on breastfeeding for a while, but I know I won't for a whole year.

Also I've recently found out that a company will send you a check for .75 per pack of Huggies and $1.00 per pack for pullups(Hayden uses at night still) you must have at least 5 receipts and then they'll send you your check! I don't have 5 yet(I can't find a few of my receipts!) so I'll report back when I do. But saving another .75 per pack that brings my diaper prices down to .145 per diaper!

I also am a firm believer in store brands! Except for laundry detergent and dishwasher soap, I'm a total brand snob on these products! I love Tide and my clothes show it or not actually!!!! Jason has been our resident dishwasher and he was using 2 packets of the store brand in the dishwasher and it wasn't getting the job do until i started buying Electrsol(sp?) tablets(i think!!). I should totally be getting paid by these companies for name dropping!!! On website i frequent it showed the savings between buying name brand and Target brands this week and the savings before coupons was 46.7% savings. Thats a lot!

Any other ideas and tips on saving money would be greatly appreciated!!!

Happy Easter!

We had a great weekend filled with lots of Easter celebrations. Hayden hasn't eaten much candy, and I'm not too concerned! We also were blessed with nice weather, which Hayden enjoyed more than the candy. He just loves being able to play outside, and I'm happy that he is finally getting to.

Saturday we went to Grandma Sandmon's and played all day with Jessica. They play so well together and were little giggle monsters! They play some the things they did when they were little. Jessica pushes Hayden on the bike, Hayden pushes Jessica on the bike. They've always do this! I got a few pictures, shocking i know!

Sunday after church that was performed by the Bishop we went to my mom's and spend the afternoon there eating yummy food and looking at lots of pictures, very nice and low key! That doesn't happen very often.

Here is my April 2009 album including this weekends pictures!

We've had so much fun redecorating Hayden's (and now Carson's) room! We loved Hayden's room before we decorated it, its so much more fun to decorate kids rooms, you can get away with so much more! I could do so many more rooms, I have lots of ideas!

We started with a bright blue shade(Handsome Hue), that I bought to match the valances I bought. I wanted this expensive crib set but thought it was foolish to spend that much, so I bought some accessories and did it that way. Everything matches Hayden's bedding too. Then we painted different colored circles on the wall. Set up the crib and wow it looks nice!

We still have to hang up the pictures, shelves and hooks! But I thought I'd share!

I finally got our computer issues worked out so i can blog again!!!

Our trip was wonderful and so eventful! We were blessed with great weather almost the whole time and so many fun things to do! We visited Silver Dollar City(Twice) which is an amusement park. Hayden liked the Roller Coaster the first day and the Tea Cups with Papa the second day. I couldn't enjoy the rides much due the fact I'm giving birth in a month! But found a wonderful Strawberry and Cream smoothie to keep me happy both days! We ran into a performer who was original from Superior, actually from 7th and 16th. Small world! There was so much to do at Silver Dollar City besides rides. They have glassblowers, blacksmiths, candy makers etc. It was a very neat place and a great place to spend some time outside basking in the sun!

We went to a couple shows too! The Showboat Branson Belle and Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede both were dinner shows. We had a couple disappointments at each show but it didn't stop us from enjoying them! Hayden really liked the "talking dogs" on the Branson Belle as did all of us!

We also went and saw a water and fire show(3 times!), went shopping at a 5 and dime store, went to the College of the Ozarks(Which is way awesome, students don't pay for their school, they work it off), played outside quite a few times, threw rocks in Table Rock Lake, and so much more! I thought I'd put up all the albums from our trip for sure though!
