Hayden and I decided that Spring is here! We saw our first dandelion of the year! He knows that Spring is when Baby Brother will be here! Any day now! The sooner the better in my book. I was at the doctor yesterday and she guessestimated him at 7.5 pounds right now and he should be gaining 1/2 pound to 1 pound a week. So if i go to the due date he'll be about 9.5 pounds, so now would be better with the whole birth thing in my book! He is in the "position" for birth and is causing me no pain! I really can't complain this pregnancy has been a breeze so far.

Its been nice enough for Hayden and I to go on walks after work this week. He has been riding his bike and he flies on that thing. We are ready for summer over here! Jason and Hayden have been out golfing a few times already too! Jason said the course has been pretty busy and they've had to double up with random people and Hayden is always entertaining them! Hayden's big feat this year so far is that his ball skipped over the water on a pond 3 times and hit the bank and was in! He was very proud of this. Hayden also putts all day long in the house with his little putting green. He also has become a basketball shooting pro. He stands across the living room from his hoop and makes it 75% of the time!

We will be keeping everyone updated on the progress of Baby Brother, which hopefully will include his blog debut, soon!

Happy Easter!

We had a great weekend filled with lots of Easter celebrations. Hayden hasn't eaten much candy, and I'm not too concerned! We also were blessed with nice weather, which Hayden enjoyed more than the candy. He just loves being able to play outside, and I'm happy that he is finally getting to.

Saturday we went to Grandma Sandmon's and played all day with Jessica. They play so well together and were little giggle monsters! They play some the things they did when they were little. Jessica pushes Hayden on the bike, Hayden pushes Jessica on the bike. They've always do this! I got a few pictures, shocking i know!

Sunday after church that was performed by the Bishop we went to my mom's and spend the afternoon there eating yummy food and looking at lots of pictures, very nice and low key! That doesn't happen very often.

Suckers, Swings, Baseball and Basketball-everything important to my 3 year old.

We've had a great couple of weeks, i don't think i have shared that. Hayden is back to his happy go lucky self. He is particularly funny lately too. Always trying to get a laugh out of us, who does that sound like? He has been saying phrases that make him sound like, well me. I think its so funny that he still picks things up, he is ALWAYS listening. Jason and I are telling ourselves that constantly. Last night he said "You better go get your sweatshirt its a bit chilly" I always say that! He also loves to sing along to Jason's favorite band, Linkin Park. Hayden knows the words to more than 1 song and always requests it. At least they don't' swear! He is in love with our side yard and calls it "His Garden". Which is becoming more of a garden and we have a bird feeder now. He loves filling it up and watching all the little birds eat it. He waters my tomato and hydrangea plants. And the grass, bushes, trees, sandbox, house and car. Into the window on Wednesday night too! I am up to 4 hydrangeas. They are special to me because those were our wedding flowers. I have one big plant that looks just like the ones i had and my bridesmaids. 3 new ones that i am not sure what color they will be yet! White i think. Enjoy the pictures! Enjoy the long weekend! Okay instead of telling you all the bad things about the week i am just posting the good!
We went to the Depot on Saturday with Cousin Jacob. Lots of fun! But those two have very different taste in what they like.

We have buds on our plants/bushes. Which is very exciting because we are always certain we killed them off last year.
I worked a TON this week and didn't really get burned out. So i guess there could be a future with a full time job for me.
It was Sample Sale week! Yeah for me! I have a whole new wardrobe.
It was warm enough for me to wear Sandals to work and Hayden got to wear his Crocs.
We are heading to the Cities next weekend for a much needed weekend away.

Hmmmm. Here is a night in the life of Hayden.

Mommy and Daddy are busy in the living room. They told me to go play. And on the way to my room to play i saw the Tupperware full of pizza sauce. And then i had this great idea to finger paint with it. Glass is always a great canvas, don't you think?

Okay. After they made ME clean it up, they again told me to go play in my room. They think i should just play with all my toys, i am THREE i don't like to play toys, i like to do things i am not suppose to. Here is where i compromise with them. Naked Army. Apparently my mom edited this photo.

See after i was a stinker all night long i get what i wanted in the first place. To go play outside. Anyone up for a walk to the park?

This last week was tough for us! We wanted to go back on vacation. But Hayden had a great time playing and relaxing. Some interesting things happened this week/end:

• Hayden is polka dotted. He has bug bites up and down his arms and a couple on his face. They are not going away. We think their Chigger bites, i don't' know anything about them! It happened in the sand in Mississippi.
  
• Counting to 3 really works with Hayden. I tell him to do something he doesn't do it, so then i tell him i am going to count to 3 and then he will take a timeout. So by 2 he is really moving! I hope this lasts a while!
  
• Jason was watching Rocky(The whole set was out, i think he watched all of them while we were gone!) and Hayden found the case and came running over to me "Look Mom its Elvis" SO cute! He talks about Elvis all the time. About his house, his airplanes, and how we rode a bus over to his house.
  
• Hayden does NOT want to wear his jacket. He thinks it should be warm out and he should be able to wear his crocs with no jacket. But we brought out his spring jacket and cute gap hat, that Mommy loves so much
  
• On Friday night/Saturday morning Hayden woke up yelling my name.(not unusual he usually just wants me to get him milk) but i went in there and he was shaking. He was afraid of something. We don't know what it was but he is still talking about it. He keeps saying a Blue Train made a storm. But there wasn't a train outside that morning, they wake me up every time they go by at night. So i don't know if he had a dream or if something was outside his window. Hopefully he can get him to go in there again.

Lot of Fun!

Boy has May blown by us! Its almost June already! This past week we were so busy, again! It was pretty yucky all week, again! The only nice day was Friday. Sunday and Monday eventually got nice, but it took a while and a drive out of town! Grandpa Smith was in the hospital all week long, and is doing well now. So we tried to go up there as much as we could. We got a golf game in on Sunday it was very nice! Hayden is a wild man out there. He got to "drive" Grandpa and Smiths golf cart and loved that just as much as golf. On Saturday we got a special treat, Jessica came to visit us. Hayden was also sick on Friday. I stayed home with him, but he is finally feeling better today. Anyways on Saturday he was pretty crabby with Jess for a while but they opened up and ate pizza and ran around like crazy little monkeys! It was very nice. I am not sure if we even have plans this week! On Friday i am going out with work people, golfing! Yikes. I am NOT a good golfer, but i need to socialize! Now that Sarah has left me for Arizona, i really need to get out there and have fun with other people! Have a great week! Hope for good weather!

Hunting Meatballs

We've had a pretty busy weekend! Daddy was off Turkey Hunting, but if you ask Hayden he will tell you Daddy was Meatball hunting. Super Cute! I don't know where he got this, but its stuck! And of course we all think its funny and laugh so he keeps doing it! Happy Belated Mothers Day to all the Mommies and Grandmas out there. I had a very nice day, minus the car dying, but we got it fixed! My boys got me a hydrangea bush, it was the flower we had for our wedding. We spent the afternoon in Canal Park, our new favorite hang out! I got yummy coffee from Caribou and the boys had ice cream. I of course got a few pictures from down there. This week has been beautiful! It was even Hot! Anyone who knows me knows how much i hate the heat, but love it at the same time. The library at school gets so incredible hot, it was almost unbearable being there. But i wont complain too much! Prom was this weekend, Hayden and I went to Grand March(My mom too!) It was nice to see my students are dressed up looking beautiful! I had the owner of Sarabella's Dress shop in Superior sitting next to be analyzing all the dresses, it was SUPER funny. I mostly agreed with her too! Except my favorite dress she hated, and one a student bought at her store i HATED! We also went to the Ryan Hoff memorial Basketball game at SHS on Wednesday, Hayden had a blast. It was Students against Teachers. The teachers did pretty good but still lost, like 56 to 64 something like that. It was good to see so many coworkers outside of school. I have to start doing more of that! Teachers are very social people. Well i am going to be busy with Sarah's Shower most of the week! Only 2 weeks until she leaves for Arizona. Its sad, but so great at the same time. I hope everyone has a great week!

We had a great weekend. We had lots of fun. On friday night we celebrated Grandma Blakey birthday at Rapids. Hayden and Jessica had lots of fun together, they have a play room out there and that kept them VERY busy! We were lucky enough to see Jason's cousins, Devin and Trevor, who were out with their other Grandma, they have gotten so big! Hayden and Jess were so cute! They were talking together, which i find super cute, to hear little people conversations.
On Saturday we did a little quick shopping for Grandpa Smith's birthday and then went out to Grandma Sandmon's house. Boy did Hayden love it out there! Hayden and Jess played SUPER together, we had very few incidents. Grandpa Sandmon has a little mini 3 hole golf course out in the yard, and Hayden was loving that. He golfed for a long time with Jessica. He is getting good! I am impressed with some of his swings, he has potential to beat his dad! Which is not Daddy anymore its Jason. Jason, Jason, Jason. Hayden thinks its pretty funny! After a yummy dinner at the Sandmon's they we went down below and saw the rest of the property. Jason and i have been together for 5 years (Tomorrow!) but in those years i have never been down there. It was beautiful. There is natural springs poking up into a pond and the Brule River is right there. It was awesome. There also is a swing set down there, Hayden and Jess were in 2 year old heaven! We were down there for over an hour! I of course took a ton of pictures. We had so much fun! Hayden was very sad when we couldn't see them on Sunday.

As the title shows Hayden wanted to throw rocks in the water last night, since it was SUPER nice again! So we went down to Canal Park and had dinner down there. It was lots of fun! Hayden with his trusty bucket and shovel in hand filled up his bucket and then we went to the lift bridge and to throw rocks and then a boat was going out so we watched that! Hayden thought the world of it! It liked the bridge going down the best though. Even this morning he was talking about it!

We Love Spring!

We've had lots of fun this week! Daddy and Hayden got to go golfing at PGC, lets just say the car seat, golf cart, and a tie down were involved all while Hayden slept! Lots of outside time! We've had fun! The week went by super fast for us! Here are just a few pics! Have a great weekend!

Well as i write this i have to say i am a little mad at the weather! It rained a good portion of the weekend and here on monday morning its warm and sunny! My mom and dad took Hayden on saturday afternoon to find warmer weather. I didn't take much, before they got to Danbury it was 70ish. Hayden got to throw rocks in the water, a new favorite past time! When we got home and i asked him what he had for dinner he told me Ice cream cone, ahhh grandparents! I did learn he really had a hot dog and ice cream later! He had so much fun though, he loves warm! His "thing" this weekend was every time we saw water he'd tell us he wanted to go fishing. He has never been fishing, but we found out that Grandpa Smith, has brainwashed him a little, and did a good job with it! But we'll have lots of fun this summer, i actually like to fish too! We both agree that fishing in a boat isn't really a go for the summer, he is still too little. We think that if we do we'll go to Sand Lake in Barnes, our favorite! We did get a little walk in Sunday morning to my mom and dad's. Hayden rode is awesome bike all the way there. He did great! But i suppose i can try to get a walk in right now if i motivate myself enough! Have a great week!

Spring!

I have been a bad blogger again. But not much has happened! I have been sick with a couple ear/sinus infections and am pretty much miserable. So we havent been up to much. The most exciting thing was that we bought a new washer and dryer. It is something we SO desperately needed! But we don't get them until the 30th. Tomorrow is my very best friend's birthday, Happy birthday Sarah! I think we are going bowling if we can find a babysitter. Hayden has been good, we've a few terrible two incidents but for the most part he is great! He is LOVING spring. Daddy has been very good and getting him outside and i've taken him on a few walks. Which aren't as great as last summer because he doesn't like to sit in his stroller. I walk to socialize w/Sarah so we walk fast and not really possible for Hayden to walk. We have not taken him to the park yet. I am just waiting for a little while, because once he knows its up there, we'll be there ALL the time! I love this spring! Maybe its just because i haven't been able to smell since Easter but it doesn't smell springy. Which to me smells gross and like mud. Jason got to go golfing for the first time yesterday, that made him very happy! He went with a bunch of guys from work, i think this summer they will be having a few meetings on the golf course! Easter Weekend!

We had a great Easter weekend. We were so busy, but it was lot of fun. On Friday Nick and Jessica came over to play for a few hours. Jessica is SO cute! She just played and played. Hayden and her golfed for a while in the living room, Hayden showing her his mad skills!!! But she liked our Playhut Bus the best. She had a lot of fun climbing in and out and peeking through the windows, i do believe she got her daddy in there once or twice too! Hayden was kinda crabby on friday with her, and he knew it. At like 1:15 he grabbed his fringes and buf (yup its back) and climbed into bed and then proceeded to sleep until 4:30. If only he did that everyday!
On Saturday, we slept in! Hayden too. That was great, we don't all get to it that together anymore. And if you know Jason, you know he likes to sleep! Then we woke up, got ready and went to Grandma Sandmon's house for a Easter party! We left a little early, and took a ride so Hayden would fall asleep. Everyone was at Grandma Sandmon's except Michael and Laura. But that's pretty good to get everyone else. We had SUPER yummy food. Grandma made it all her self. I think she is too stubborn to let anyone else do it! But i don't think it would be the same without her touch! I love her coleslaw because it tastes just like Grandma Routh's and thats my favorite! She also made her famous, to die for hot fudge. I have NEVER had better than hers. Its fantastic! And i would get a lot of back up on that statement. Hayden and Jess played well for the most part, they had a few moments. They blew bubbles for a long time and just played. They had a few "Coffee" parties(Odie says Tea isnt manly so Hayden was drinking coffee),played cars, and jumped on the bed! They are super cute. Also Lisa's friend and her daughter came to play, she is 3 and uber cute! We had an easter egg hunt too. It was a fun packed day!
Easter was just as fun! We woke up and Hayden was cute looking for his Easter basket. Next year i need to leave that silly bunny a note saying DON'T PUT MOMMY AND DADDY'S CLOSER! Ours was like very visible when you walked in the room and he had to look for his a little. But he found it and kept saying "Ohhh, Thank You". We went to Church and he was super good, he loves the music. He was singing and trying to find the right pitch or note in his voice, and he corrected himself, i was impressed by that. I need to buy a church hymn cd! We went to my mom's and dad's house where he had a easter surprise of some cool books, and a "rabbit" cookie. We went out to lunch with the Moe family and then later back to Mum Moe's for yummy desserts! We then went to Jason's parents, where the Easter bunny came for Hayden too! He got some wiffle golf balls and was golfing with caper, the cat, who makes a pretty good retriever! After we left we needed a few groceries but the stores were closed so we ended up at WalMart. To which Hayden said "walmart gross." I am antiwalmart and Hayden knows it! But we were walking around and found a clearance golf club for him, which we were really excited! His first real club.

Ahhhh the Weekend!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! We did. We had lots of fun on Jason's birthday. We went out to dinner with Mike, Rae Ann, Michael and Laura. We went to Timberlodge and it was very yummy!!! Hayden was SUPER good there too! After that they all took Hayden home with them so we could go out with our friends. We had a blast!!! It was so nice to see them.
On Saturday Hayden had 4+ hour nap! He slept the day away. But i should have known something was up because today he is not feeling well. He has had a moderately high fever. He goes away 45 minutes after we give him his "Alli-juice" (click to see a picture!). It's an alligator shaped medicine dispenser, and some where along got named "Alli-juice". So he happily takes his medicine if we call it that! But hopefully he'll be all better tomorrow! He really has no other symptoms other than the fever and being super sleepy!
My cousin is trying to adopt a baby and asked us to find some family photos. I stumbled on this nice picture of "Mum Moe" and Hayden! This was taken on her 85th Birthday!

Good to Be Home!

Here is from the day we left! Aren't they cute!

Well we made it home! Yesterday we saw high temperatures of 82 degrees! We even had a picnic on the way home just outside of Wisconsin Dells. It was great. Hayden ran around like a nut, he loved it! I hope our whole spring is going to be nice, and not yucky!

We stopped by a few places before we left yesterday. One was this fabulous, Peter Sciortino's Bakery. It was HEAVENLY! Emily felt the same way too! I had a huge Eclair that the cream was so heavy the bottom start falling out, yummmm!!! We also stopped by Miller Park and checked out the Brewer's Stadium. It was really nice. Brandon and my dad went in.

It is nice to be home. Hayden was a little bit of a stinker and showing us that "Hayden's 2, Yeah 2" We are hopefully going to crack down on his tantrums, and screaming episodes. Because I hate it! He also was a "peach" going to bed last night. I don't think he went to sleep until close to midnight! But we're off to a normal week!
