After 18 months I though that monthly blog posts about Carson were silly, things slow down a little at that time, coming up with new things each month were getting a little hard. But I feel like I've missed so much stuff here on the ol'blog. Some things that can't be forgotten: -Carson has been calling his blankets "Mmmmmmmes" Jason figured out that when we snuggle we say mmmmmmmm. So he just adds a little s at the end. -He is VERY independent lately. Everything has to be done by him and it has to be his idea. Like he must climb into his carseat, and he has to ask for "Bunny Milk" (His name for his No Sugar Added Chocolate milk mix in,yup I'm that parent) I can't give to him. -He loves his Elmo Daddy and Elmo Abby. Don't judge. We use movies to put him to bed. Its what took over for Nursing at 19 months, when Mommy had, had enough! -He amazes me with what he knows. His colors for sure. He can point out Orange, anytime and anywhere. He loves Orange. Orange Choo-Choos were talked about for days after we saw them! He also knows Blue,Red and Purple most of the time. -He went potty in the potty and has taken interest in potty training! I won't push it until summer for sure. -He still loves trains and blocks. I could probably take away all the other toys and he won't care. He does loves his golf clubs and balls too. Daddy is happy about that one! -He can identify places and where were going often. Everytime we go past McDonald's he says Dada's Work. He knows Hay Hay's School and Mama's work too. He wants a kiss everytime we go past the high school! -He is a funny little guy. He knows what can make us laugh. One thing he does is rapidly looks around with his head and says "huh, huh, huh, huh" pretty cute! -One of my favorite things he does lately when playing with puzzles and blocks he'll say "This One............Noooooo". He also likes to take turns and always declares who's turn it is. "Mama's Turn" "Hay Hay's Turn" "Carson's Turn" This week both boys were sick and past on their lovely cold/virus to Nana, Papa, and Smith. Some how Jason and I avoided it, so far. But Hayden actually missed a day of school, which is crazy that boy is never sick. They had fevers for a few days, runny noses, lots and lots of coughing, sore ears, goopy eyes and scratchy throats. And they were CRABBY! Carson is a bear, Hayden actually did pretty good and probably should have stayed home more days but he was the leader and duty called. There was no talking him into staying home, the kid loves school. Hayden amazes me with reading lately. He can pick up a book and read many of the words and has a set of books he can read all the way through. He has all of his sight words down pat. He is also Mr. Social Butterfly. Next Saturday he has 2 birthday parties, and soccer. Today he had another party. All the kids always come running up to him to say Hi. He can light up a room, I tell you! I am looking forward to the summer when we can spend lots of time together. Summer is quickly approaching thank goodness!

Happy 1st Day of Kindergarten Hayden! Today was technically your 2nd day but yesterday we went as a family for an hour and half...doesn't really count! You woke up so happy and ate a yummy breakfast of pancakes, banana and milk, you didn't eat much and that made Mommy nervous you'd be hungry(which you did say your tummy was grumbling right before lunch! Listen to your mommy!) After getting dressed we sat around the house for over a half hour! We got to school and we waited until the bell rang and went into your "wing" found your coat hook(which is actually more like an area, you get like 5 hooks!) hung up your stuff and went into the classroom. Your teacher Mrs Szymomowicz(yes I get to write that name on all his stuff!) calls everyone "my friend" makes mommy think of Billy Madison for some reason. And then you were off like you'd been doing this for years! Carson and I waved goodbye to you and your school from the parking lot!
Daddy picked you up after an exciting afternoon of locking his keys in his truck at Cirrus. You said you had a good day, ate lunch with someone in a vikings shirt and played playdoh. You also colored a picture of a snake, turtle and yourself. You are excited because if you bring your Blue Folder back tomorrow you get a sticker and are looking forward to that!
I hope you are this excited about school your whole life Little Buddy!

Hayden finished up his year at Shooting Stars this last week. What a great program it is too! I wish I had known about it long ago. He made some great friends, Mackenzie and Lanita, always together! He excelled in his swimming--making it to a higher level than his age even allows! His teacher, Mrs Starry had so many wonderful things to say about him and how he will wow his teacher next year at kindergarten. She was excited to know that he is going to school at the same school as her son too. We celebrated with a swimming party for all the families followed up with pizza and ice cream. We even went on the waterslide, a highlight for Hayden. They built mar shallow sculptures on the last day which will always stick with Hayden I think, the boy has a deep love for marshmallows.

Congratulations Hayden on completing Preschool!!!

Today marks Hayden's fifth birthday! And Christmas, of course! Merry Christmas Everybody!

Hayden you've become quite the little man. Your personality is much bigger than your body. You are amazingly smart and "your brain tells" you so much as you put it. Each day you amaze us with another fact or accomplishment we didn't know you were capable of doing. You love to count and math. You count to 100 ALL the time, if its shooting baskets in the house or just stuff you are always counting. You recently want to know about money and are learning all about quarters, pennies etc. You love your Shooting Stars Preschool with Mrs Starry at the Y. You play in the gym and show of your basketball skills! You are in the highest swimming class in your preschool and do well. Mommy was shocked that they taught you how to dive...you are still working on that skill! You still love to "snuggle" and lay with us in bed. You still use your "fringies" and love Rudolph(any time of the year) and Diego. Your imaginations is amazing and always doing things with Diego and Alicia. You like hats, milk, Reese's peanut butter cups, basketball, being outside, shoveling, swimming, baths, showers, waffles, golf, Wii and so much more. You look forward to Mondays with Papa Smith and love getting sprinkle doughnuts with Papa Moe. Green is your favorite color. You wear size 5 in pants and 5/6 in shirts. You weigh the same as you did last year! But have grown taller...you go see Dr. Maria in 4 days. You are a sports nut! Always playing golf, or basketball, or anything with a ball. You really want to learn how to play hockey and Mommy will sure try to teach you this winter. You love your brother and are a huge helper. You can always make him smile. You are always concerned about him crying and love to feed him puffs. You are daddy's buddy. You are also in Mommy's opinion is double...personality wise for sure! You are two peas in a pod. You do different things with Mommy. We've cooked, baked, played computer games, and let me dress you in all my funny outfits...and of course take lots and lots of pictures of you. You have beautiful eyes, eyelashes and curls!

We love you so much! Never stop amazing us. We have faith that you were grow up to be an amazing person that will accomplish much!

Yeah! Carson finally did it! He is officially crawling as of Friday. He now is a trouble maker, pulling himself up on things and pushing buttons on the DVD player. He isn't very fast on our hardwood floors yet...thank goodness!

He also has a few times growled at me, when I tell him no! 7 months and already back talking...I think I am in trouble!

Hayden's excitement for Christmas and his birthday are bursting at the seams. I can't wait to spend this week with him. I have a few things in store for him.

I am officially on Christmas Vacation, oh wait Winter Break. I couldn't be happier...I was getting snippy with those sassy teenagers.

My friend Sarah lost her dear father in law on Wednesday. Please keep her and their family in your prayers. Its so nice to have her home for the next couple weeks. I miss her terribly.

We've celebrated 3 out of our 5 christmas(es). We had so much fun at all of them. Hayden has so much fun playing with his cousins. Jessica on Jason's side and all the crew on mine(Jacob, Ben, Hudsen, Toby etc!) Its fun to see him play so nicely with everyone...we were always a little worried about his socializing.

Carson was Baby Jesus at the Routh family Christmas(Hayden was the wisest wise man!!Well in my opinion!) He was super cute sitting on stage in his swaddling. Hayden was very proud of him too. Hayden also loved his blue shiny dress and crown. We've talked about the birth of Jesus and he knows the role of the wise men, and thought it was cool he was bringing his brother a gift.

We've been to Bentleyville twice. I highly recommend going. It was well worth the 90 minute wait to see Hayden and Jessica's faces when they meet Santa and received their hats(Hayden picked Green, of course!)

I turn 26 tomorrow. Yikes!

Here is a mini slideshow of some of my favorite pictures I've taken recently...

Hayden started Preschool this week! I can't believe my baby is old enough for school. Its a program from 9-11:30 2 days a week. Its only his first week but he loves it! Yeah! On Thursday he gets a swimming lesson, which I am sure will be the highlight of each week. He has a little hook with his name on it and a little person that he puts on the home/school side of the board each time. He eagerly picks out his name tag and can't wait to play with the dinosaurs in the rice table...and he gets a green dot at circle time. Life is great for this little guy!

Today I came early to pick him up, Mama was curious how the swimming lessons worked and his teacher came up to me and told me what a nice, polite little boy he is. She however was most impressed that he could make a basket in the gym, in the adult sized hoops. Hehehehe, we knew that! I laughed she was like Holy Cow. Hayden is also about a head taller than any other little boys. There is another girl who just turned 5 on Sept 2 that is just about Haydens size, she is from Haiti actually. Okay since its my blog and I'll brag if i want to. The Aquatics director came over to me and asked if I was Hayden's mom and wanted to know where he had been taking swimming lessons...which he hasn't and told me he was a very advanced swimmer and she was really impressed. He got bumped up to the highest level class. He makes his Mommy very proud!

On Tuesday when we got there I was a little nervous, he is a man and doesn't talk about his feelings so I wasn't sure how he felt about me leaving him and we got to school and I asked him if he wanted me to stay for a while(we were welcome too) and he said "Bye Mom you can go now" Whew. Looking back on it I probably should of been a little heartbroken but thats what I needed to hear to know he was going to be okay! When I picked him up I asked him all about school, not really getting anything from him, what kid does, but I asked him if he made any friends and he told me that he was going to make them on Thursday. Funny, funny Hayden.

Football starts on Saturday, should be a good time....kinda. Program kind of sucks, oh well he has fun.

The swim director also informed me of another program for Hayden on Fridays but I don't think he'll be able to do that one with my work schedule for now....

Few more tidbits!
I forgot almost the funniest Haydenism! We were sitting at East End Cafe last Wednesday and must of been talking about Christmas. All of sudden Hayden says "Nana, for Christmas I am going to buy you a new "phone" " Okay this may not be funny but he put air quotes around phone. So we would like to know what "phone" really means, crack, weed??? What Nana is that you really want?
Hayden has been having a hard time sleeping lately, we don't know why. He was up from 2:30 until 4:30 last night. At about 3(I think) he came into bed with us. Jason had to open, so he was up at 4 getting ready. I told Hayden that he needed to go back to sleep and he said " I can't close my eyes, they won't stay shut, i am tired" Poor kid! He actually went to bed at 6:45 tonight and he is still asleep at 10:30, we'll see what happens i guess tonight!
I thought I'd though a few pictures in too! Have a good week and opening to hunting season here in Wi!

Haydenisms-

Papa Moe- "I think i see little finger prints all over the Screen"
Hayden-" That would be Me"

Hayden-"Nana, WHAT did you do to your hair?"

Hayden-"Smith, Your hair is Crazy!"

Hayden- "Did you see that boy with the fancy hair?" In reference to a 8th grader who hadn't cut his curly, uncontrollable hair in 6 months.

Mom- "Hayden you need to go to bed" As Hayden climbs into our bed
Hayden-" I am going to bed, in here"

Hayden-"Jessica is just so adorable"

Hayden- "(giggle, giggle) It would be super funny if we drove backwards all the way to Nana's house!(giggle, giggle)"

He has been so funny lately. He has a super personality. I am sorry in advance to any of his teachers. I am pretty sure they will be entertained next year in preschool!

So yes i have been a ridiculously bad blogger. But school has started and nobody wants to read me go on and on about how i wish it was still summer. So yup no blogging! Its been actually pretty uneventful and we got right back into the swing of things. Hayden happily going to Angies, loves playing and probably being away from Mommy. Work is work and just the same! Oh well. I did actually get new hours which is okay. I still have been thinking(ok looking) to see what else is out there for jobs, maybe even applying. (maybe drug testing for different jobs) but nothing that i want to switch to yet or even talk about! I will let everybody know. I just don't know. I probably will stick to this until Hayden goes to Kindergarten. We are happy with this situation for the moment. I really am not willing to go Full Time until then. I was listening to the Today show today and heard about little boys and learning and how they don't do very good with sitting down and doing worksheets and stuff. This is SO true with Hayden he learns so much better and gets a lot less frustrated when we just talk to him and teach him by example and seeing. Now I can't do this with everything but a big ol'chalkboard works better than paper for us. I find this interesting and maybe a reason why i will not send Hayden to preschool/4K. I really don't think its for him. He is so smart and loves to learn and asks awesome questions i don't want to loose that on a sheet of paper. Just my thought for Hayden and our next children maybe totally different and i'll be pushing them to preschool at 2 and half. Who knows. He is very into numbers lately(as always actually) and we are learning 24, 30, 54 etc. he is always asking me to tell him the numbers on the clock, i bought him a watch too. But we can't find it at the moment we just hear to beep once an hour, so its here somewhere!
Jason is in Colorado hunting!(Ohh the watch just beeped, speak of the devil)Its kind of lonely but we'll stay busy. I have been running errands in the morning and hanging with Hayden in the evening. Been kinda lazy cleaning the house but who do i have to impress? Hayden? He doesn't care. We have a Cities trip on our agenda and High School Musical the Play! Hayden is equally excited about those my little music loving boy! He LOVES HSM. The 2nd one even more, it has golf.
Well have a great weekend! I'll try to update more!

All right I am going to brag about my son, so beware! Hayden is learning to spell! He knows religiously how to spell his name and write it without help. I am so proud of him, granted he does have an easy name to write and its only Hayden I haven't even started with Smith yet. He catches on so easy! I have been spelling words for him when he asks questions. Like what a new remote did. I told him to push the ON and he did and i asked him what that word means and he said ON(He isn't dumb I suppose I should give him a little credit!) the same with OFF. Good Job Hayden!

Check out the slideshow to your right. It has more pictures of the fun month of May. On Saturday in between the crazy weather we went to the Firehouse Museum and Barker's Island. I of course took pictures! He was climbing on this "Space Net" and went pretty high, he was so proud of himself! We also went to a graduation party for our friend Greg and his fiancee Kate. Congrats to them. He is also getting very independent. I have moved all his stuff down to the bottom drawer so we can get his own pajamas, undies and socks. He loves to match his socks too! He is getting so big. Now he is going to "Madgee" (Nemadji) with his Daddy and its all he is talking about!

Crying. Ahhhh i even hate the word. Why is that children cry when my 3 year old can very easily tell me whats wrong, is that not why i taught him to talk? As of lately all Hayden does is cry when things don't go his way. At first i thought it was not sleeping, then i thought maybe he didn't feel well, but now i just don't know. Something is not right. I googled my thoughts and came up with some good tips for Mom and Dad. Be Consistent, Don't Give In, Don't Bribe(i love bribery!), ignore until he stops, punish him until done. But i don't know. The first 3 i will try. But i can't ignore him, something is obviously wrong, and punishing him doesn't seem right to me. But we'll see. Jason was Super Dad last night. Hayden cried when i went into Target, all the way home, and another half hour when we got home. He likes to take off his seatbelt now in the car when crying or mad. This doesn't work. We pull that car over so fast and put that back on him. But when we got home Jason held Hayden until he stopped crying and took a few deep calming breathes. I kind of laughed it sounded like they were doing yoga! Hayden didn't like the holding but Jason just kept telling him to calm down, he didn't once give up. Go Jason!
On Monday night we left Jason's parent's house and he cried all the way home and for about 2 hours when we got home. He finally stopped crying when he was naked and lying on the kitchen floor with a mound of pillows and the, Buffy. Jason did it not me. But he just kind of held it to his chest and it comforted him just having it. After crying and a bath we were all in bed around midnight. Have i said anything about not sleeping? My child doesn't sleep. Not nearly enough. We have let him sleep in bed with us the last 2 nights, only because we fall asleep before we can move him. He is still a baby really, he needs lots of sleep and not getting enough. Poor Guy. So hopefully we can find our issue and nix it. We want peace restored in the Smith house.
Going on walks to the park, and baths seem to help. Mommy going to work, getting dressed, laying down with fringes, and Barney DO NOT HELP! Mommy going to work has been an issue this week too. Crying and clinging on to me. He wakes up in the morning and tells me he wants me to stay home and watch him all day. I feel bad of course but work is my peace this week. Oh wait it is only Wednesday isn't. Wish us luck for the rest of the week, as Jason has him both days, all day!

Hmmmm. Here is a night in the life of Hayden.

Mommy and Daddy are busy in the living room. They told me to go play. And on the way to my room to play i saw the Tupperware full of pizza sauce. And then i had this great idea to finger paint with it. Glass is always a great canvas, don't you think?

Okay. After they made ME clean it up, they again told me to go play in my room. They think i should just play with all my toys, i am THREE i don't like to play toys, i like to do things i am not suppose to. Here is where i compromise with them. Naked Army. Apparently my mom edited this photo.

See after i was a stinker all night long i get what i wanted in the first place. To go play outside. Anyone up for a walk to the park?

This last week was tough for us! We wanted to go back on vacation. But Hayden had a great time playing and relaxing. Some interesting things happened this week/end:

  • Hayden is polka dotted. He has bug bites up and down his arms and a couple on his face. They are not going away. We think their Chigger bites, i don't' know anything about them! It happened in the sand in Mississippi.
  • Counting to 3 really works with Hayden. I tell him to do something he doesn't do it, so then i tell him i am going to count to 3 and then he will take a timeout. So by 2 he is really moving! I hope this lasts a while!
  • Jason was watching Rocky(The whole set was out, i think he watched all of them while we were gone!) and Hayden found the case and came running over to me "Look Mom its Elvis" SO cute! He talks about Elvis all the time. About his house, his airplanes, and how we rode a bus over to his house.
  • Hayden does NOT want to wear his jacket. He thinks it should be warm out and he should be able to wear his crocs with no jacket. But we brought out his spring jacket and cute gap hat, that Mommy loves so much
  • On Friday night/Saturday morning Hayden woke up yelling my name.(not unusual he usually just wants me to get him milk) but i went in there and he was shaking. He was afraid of something. We don't know what it was but he is still talking about it. He keeps saying a Blue Train made a storm. But there wasn't a train outside that morning, they wake me up every time they go by at night. So i don't know if he had a dream or if something was outside his window. Hopefully he can get him to go in there again.

Okay have a great week. I am going to try and put the rest of my vacation pictures on here too!

Friday, February 1, 2008

Well since Hayden is old at the age of 3 he decided to watch a movie last night. At 3:30 am, in our room. He got his Curious George Movie put it in the DVD player and watched it, all of it and then needed the "gremote" to push play again at 5:45. Then fell back asleep and slept until 10:00. Hmmm who does this sound like?

Tuesday, January 29, 2008

I think my son is actually a 20 something living in a 3 year olds body. Some examples needed? Okay i have a few.

His favorite show to watch at bedtime is "Gilmore Girls". He knows all the characters by name and can sing the theme song. He likes Paris who is the arch rival of Rory. He thinks the show "is so funny. giggle giggle."

New favorite song? He sings almost word for word "I"ll Stand by You". Carrie Underwood style of course! We were at the library today and wanted to check out a CD with "Stand by You" on it. We couldn't find one.

He is my second half sometimes. He always knows where i put my glasses, coffee cup, cell phone, or purse. He can find it almost always before i can!

He loves to shop for little girl's clothes. Since he is a big boy now he shops right along side me and "follows the leader" while we shop. When we hit up the Baby/Toddler sections he always picks out a "Oh Cute" outfit. Usually involving sparkles, yellow, or Dora! Yellow sparkly dresses are a must to show mommy!

What a goof ball!

Monday, January 14, 2008

WE did it! We survived 2 birthday parties this weekend. Not as many people showed up as we planned so that really cut down on the stress of too many people in our little house! I am so wounded up from this weekend i can't sleep! And probably the 10 cups of coffee i drank through out the day. I am sure my grammar is going to be horrible but bear with me!

This week was a whirl wind of stuff going on and getting ready. Monday was our normal Monday at Mike and RaeAnn's house. Tuesday Hayden and I got into it during the morning and he was VERY upset when i went to work. He cried and hugged me telling me not to go. He hasn't done this since September, very werid. But Emily watched him during the Day and Auntie Em watched him at night so Mommy and Daddy could actually get some shopping done for the party. Wednesday Jason worked late and we met for dinner at our normal Wednesday place, East End Cafe. $2.19 tacos! Hayden's dinner is the most expensive usually at $2.50 for pancakes, sausage and milk. We go almost every week with my mom and dad. Thursday was cleaning day! Friday was cousin Crystal's 8th birthday and we went over to Big Gram's new house just 2 blocks away for a little party. Saturday we woke up very early and brought Brandon to Basketball and watched his game, breakfast at Mcd's, Hayden's favorite! Pancakes and Sausage, always! Auntie watched Hayden so mommy could run and get food and balloons for the parties. I stopped at Jcpenney's too, they are having some good sales. I bought Jason some nice pants and Jessica's birthday present, which i want for myself. Then Hayden and i came home and worked our hinney's off. We got all ready for the party and had nothing to do for a few hours so Hayden decided to cry, and Cry, and CRY! I had to call Jason at work and beg him to come home because at that time it was time to start making the food. So Jason came home an hour early and took Hay for a car ride which ended in a sleeping birthday boy. I got everything done and then it was 5 and my family all came. It was a nice evening, yummy food and good Curious George cupcakes. Hayden received so many nice gifts both days. A Trike from Uncle Brandon and the Kitchen set from Big Gram might top the list but he has been playing with everything i can't honestly say there isnt anything he didn't like. Sunday's party was just as nice. Football, pizza, cake and playing. Jessica was a cutie she makes me giggle. I remember when i was little and i was bossy, she is a little bossy too at the grown ups but she has nothing on me! I was trying to sleep(She told me to lay down and close my eyes!) and i couldnt physically keep my eyes shut it was funny. She helped Hayden blow out his candle on his Diego cake and sang to him too. I am glad he has her! I am sure this summer those two will be in lots of trouble exploring and playing together. They both are blooming with personality. Hayden was a super chatter box on Sunday. I haven't really seen anything like it before. He just talked and talked and talked. I don't know where he gets that from. I will get a bunch of pictures on here tomorrow. Jessica's birthday is next weekend and we are heading to the cities for her party and for Elmo Live! We are staying at a hotel, Hayden's favorite thing to do. Have a great week everyone!

Okay I lied i am wired and am posting the pictures. Some from Zoo Year's Eve and New Year's Eve. Enjoy!

Christmas is over? Boy does it fly by. My computer is having some issues lately and i couldnt sign on to the blog for two days it was driving me nuts! We had a great christmas getting way to much. I got a new black coat which i am in love with, even Jason really likes it! He got Wii games, golf stuff and a basketball hoop. Hayden got everything! A bike from Santa, Camera, lots of Diego stuff, tools, uber cute sweater from my mom. Now all we need is a LOT of batteries!

My baby is 3! We sang, he sang, lots of people sang! He did very well. It was a long day but we did it! I made sure to tell him Happy Birthday first before all the Merry Christmas. The Buffy is gone. Santa brought it to all the babies who needed them. He cried himself to sleep on Christmas, i wasnt to far off either. Jason had to work the next morning and was sleeping when i was up with Hayden sobbing until 1 am, i was in Hayden's room thinking bad thoughts about Jason! But come the morning he said he heard him and felt bad too. So i took back all the bad things! Sorry Jason. He was fine yesterday and we'll see how today goes. I am the one who needs to be strong.

We have been playing games at night with either Sarah and Casey or Emily and Aaron. I forgot how much i love to play games. We've been having fun. We haven't even really had time to play all our new Wii games. I did try my new game and it's "Mama's Cook Off" it was fun weird too! We don't play our Wii when Hayden is awake or here so we have very limited time to play, but i HATE video games for kids. Our child will NOT ever get a video game system until he's like 16. Computer is fine, a lot easier for me to monitor the play.

I am going to get some video of Hayden singing and pictures on today so check back! Also i think i am going to change the layout and look of the blog so watch for that! If something doesn't work or you don't like let me know!

Hayden Driving a Greyhound at the History Museum

What a crazy time of the year, and i love it all! Hayden is growing closer and closer to three. I read that in my mom's Christmas letter and got very teary eyed. I know he is going to be three but seeing it on paper saddened me. He is really growing up and so fast. He is just like a little man too! He takes very good care of me, helping me to keep my purse very close, at all times. Telling me we always wash our hands. Making sure i have my blanket with me anytime i am sitting down for too long. Bringing me my coffee cup in the morning if i walk away from it. He is a good boy! Of course i say all of that very sarcastically. He is a good helper, a little too good some days!
Well we made a very busy Moe Weekend. We stayed at the Crown Plaza in Downtown St Paul. We were on the 18th floor in a corner room with a great view! River on one side and skyline on the other. We walked around a bit in downtown and to the Excel center where we saw High School Musical on Ice. It was cute! I have never seen the movies but it reminded me of Grease kind of. Hayden seemed to enjoy it for the most part too. He liked the fireworks! We had a few quick Museum stops, Childrens and History. Hayden got to run around like a nut! Of course a stop to the Candyland Candy Store, a must. A bunch of great restaurants and a visit with Jessica and Lisa for pictures. A great weekend.
I will end with a few pictures. Christmas Cards are coming i just can't find the best picture and i have been taking pictures like crazy!

A Christmas Card, one of them!

An attempted Christmas Card picture!

This morning Hayden woke up about 6:45 with "Sparkles" in his hand. I am thinking his hand fell asleep and was tingling. But i thought i'd share that with everyone because i found it very cute early this morning! So i brought him into bed with me where i had a sneezing attack and in his sleep he told me "Bless You" each time i sneezed! What a cutie!

Our almost 3 year old has quite an attitude lately. I think and hope it's because he isn't feeling up to par. He is super stuffy still and felt warm to Mommy last night. But it will pass like everything else does! That is by the way my motto for parenting! Those were my 2nd wisest words to Sarah about her future parenting. (The 1st was to tell your kids you love them tons and tons when they are little because it wouldnt be that easy when they get older.)

My silly son also has been spending a lot of time talking on his wrist. Hmmm. But he is talking to Diego on his watch. I also have been called Dora a lot this week. His little imagination is working so hard i LOVE it. To me even before reading i think imaginations are so important! Baby Jaguar has also been at our house hiding so we have to go find him. Where mommy thinks he is and where Hayden thinks he is, isnt always the same. Oops! Silly Mommy!

Its weird how little boys and girls for this matter are so different from one another. Hayden isnt into cars and trucks. But he LOVES Sports and Diego right now. He likes trains, which is the only toy he really plays with these days. At Angie's house all Jacob does is play trains, he lives, breathes and talks about Trains 24/7. Ben LOVES dinosaurs. I wonder if any of this carries through into grade school and so on. My brother played with Cars and legos until recently. Hayden doesn't seem interested in cars, i find this weird but also a good thing. He knows what he likes and has decided for himself. Being an individual is all it is, probably at its earliest form.

Not sure whats going on this weekend hopefully Christmas Tree. Thats all i have been wanting to do since Tuesday. We got a new, free! Entertainment center so i had to rearrange the living room(again!) and we are moving the old one in the basement but while we did that we felt a draft and went to Menards and the whole "If You Give A Mouse A Cookie" thing. The Old one is still in the living room, where my tree is going to go, so hopefully.....

Have A Great Weekend! Yeah it's Friday!
