Oh wow. We had so much fun this weekend. It went by soooo fast too! Hayden was a pretty good boy and Jess played SO nice. I was pretty lucky on Friday i worked for my co-worker Sue, who's son was in the hospital w/a broken arm. So i got down at 2:50 on Friday and we were on the road by 3:30. Hayden slept the majority of the way, and we watched Elmo for the last 30 mins, and we stopped for a push up! He loved it, but he thought the stick to hold it was a straw and kept sucking on it to get the sherbet out! We got to Lisa and Nick's at like 5:45 and had yummy pizza! The kids played and played and got really worked up! It was hard to calm them down friday, but they played great!
Saturday started early by getting up and getting everyone ready to go by 9:20. Elmo started at 10:30. We were really lucky with parking and everything we got in and out super quick at the Target center which makes life a lot easier. Elmo was awesome. It was not cheesy or super kiddish. They had good music(If you like the whole Sesame Street Tunes like i do! Lisa too!) and kids were sooooooooo good. They sat pretty great the whole time. I loved our seats because we had comfy folding chairs on an upper lower level platform and we could have as much room as we needed and the kids could stand up and dance. The show had all the characters and was so jazzy and upbeat. Jason couldn't help himself and bought Hayden a ridiculous expensive light up toy from the show. Hayden of course loved it! Boys! Then after the show we had two sleeping beauties and the mommies and daddies brought food from Chipotle home. I have been wanting to try it forever! It was great. I want one up here! Then we went to IKEA! We didn't by much but we have more of an idea for what we want for our future desk/entertainment center. We ate Swedish Meatballs( Hay's favorite) at Ikea and walked around some more. Then it was home and we went to bed.
Sunday started out slow. We were all tired i think. Jason made us all breakfast and then the boys took the kids outside. They had so much fun outside and came in with very rosy cheeks. We spent the rest of the day trying to get Hayden to take a nap, playing and then we drove over to Eden Prairie to their indoor plaything. Its all foam and the kids can climb and what all. It was nuts there. A TON of kids. Hayden who was SUPER crabby didn't really enjoy himself, but boy did Jessica have fun. It was kinda funny when a little African American girl came up to Hayden and put her fingers threw his hair. He had a funny look on his face, but you know those flowing curls are very had for people to resist. Hayden slept the whole way home so we had a nice and peaceful drive!
All and all it was so much fun. We don't know what were are going to do next weekend without Jessica!
Have a great week
