We are home!

We had a great time in Arizona, Sarah and Casey's baby is beautiful. He is a very good baby too! But boy did we miss our Hayden. He is so sweet when we got home. I didn't get to see him until Friday after work. He was very lovable and snuggly, he actually fell asleep on me. I was kind of a lump all weekend. Hayden too. We both were tired and went to bed early.

I Can't Believe it's June!

Reasons why we love June:

  • Mommy is almost done with work for the year
  • Beach time is coming
  • PBS has kids shows on in the morning!(they usually have educational programing for schools on from 9 to 1)
  • Apple Blossoms
  • Having the windows open
  • Parties(Graduation, Weddings etc!)

Why do you love June??? Or do not love it???

We had a good weekend. On Sunday my mom's Relay for Life Team had its annual Pancake Breakfast. Hayden and I helped for a while and ate yummy pancakes! Then my boys went golfing at Madgee(Haydens most requested place to go these days) on the hot day! What a great way to start June. I mowed the lawn. It was hot but i got it done and boy do i hate our hill! Then Jason's friend Jon invited us to a Huskey's game in Duluth. He had tickets for the Dog Kennel which is a big fenced off area with picnic tables and all the food and pop/beer you want. Free tickets=Free Beer and Free Food! We kind of had crazy weather but oh well. Hayden and I sat under the condiments counter to stay dry. Hayden got a foul ball too! He was VERY excited and couldn't wait to show Brandon. We brought his baseball glove and a whiffle ball which was the greatest idea! It kept him occupied for a long time. Jon also threw the first pitch of the game. Jon in the manager at Arby's in West Duluth, check them out! Its a brand new store! Jason and i have gone up there a couple of times. Thanks Arby's!

***This post was written on Sunday, May 25th!We of course got to the airport early, as always. We try to be late and we can't! So anyways today we hit the road at about 9 dropped Hayden off and went on our merry way. We stopped for Cheese Curds in Abbottsford and hit up Lambeau Field for a quick visit and to buy a few things! I of course followed Jason around with the camera since Hayden wasn't there! He is very much less agreeable than Hayden! Oh well got some pictures anyways! Some extras from yesterday with Hayden. We had a fun day golfing(mini and regular), dinner at Grizzly's(Hayden picked, they have free popcorn!) and Mommy getting a nail in the tire(noticed at Walmart and they fixed it! I didn't even now they did stuff like that and for only $10!) Enjoy!

Suckers, Swings, Baseball and Basketball-everything important to my 3 year old.

We've had a great couple of weeks, i don't think i have shared that. Hayden is back to his happy go lucky self. He is particularly funny lately too. Always trying to get a laugh out of us, who does that sound like? He has been saying phrases that make him sound like, well me. I think its so funny that he still picks things up, he is ALWAYS listening. Jason and I are telling ourselves that constantly. Last night he said "You better go get your sweatshirt its a bit chilly" I always say that! He also loves to sing along to Jason's favorite band, Linkin Park. Hayden knows the words to more than 1 song and always requests it. At least they don't' swear! He is in love with our side yard and calls it "His Garden". Which is becoming more of a garden and we have a bird feeder now. He loves filling it up and watching all the little birds eat it. He waters my tomato and hydrangea plants. And the grass, bushes, trees, sandbox, house and car. Into the window on Wednesday night too! I am up to 4 hydrangeas. They are special to me because those were our wedding flowers. I have one big plant that looks just like the ones i had and my bridesmaids. 3 new ones that i am not sure what color they will be yet! White i think. Enjoy the pictures! Enjoy the long weekend! See you when we are back from Arizona.

Sarah and Casey had their little boy on Monday, May 19th. He was the perfect size baby at 7 lbs 10 oz and 19" long. I can't wait to meet him. I was so excited i
bought a new suitcase from TJ Maxx. Emily and I went shopping on Sunday with no luck anywhere at the mall. Its American Tourister(A name i knew, good sign!) and its Chocolate and Moss. I just love it. With the amount of traveling we do you would think we would splurge and get some good stuff!

Hayden is staying with Smith and Papa while were gone. I am sure they will have lots of fun!

I want to get Sarah something really great for a gift, but i don't know what to get. Did any of you get a great present after you had your children? I already have a present for Breckin i want something just for Sarah. Please help me!!!!!!!

I was thinking about all our travels since 2007 and here they are:

Chicago(Jason) Feb 2008
Madison/Milwaukee (Hay and I) March 2007
Vegas 1 June 2007 (Jay and I)
Vegas 2 July 2007
Houston Feb 2008
Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama (Hay and I) March 2008
Arizona (Jay and I) May 2008
Colorado (Jason only) Sept 2008

Crazy isn't! I love the fact we bring our 3 year old with us on most trips. I just hope he grows up and appreciates it.

Check out the slideshow to your right. It has more pictures of the fun month of May. On Saturday in between the crazy weather we went to the Firehouse Museum and Barker's Island. I of course took pictures! He was climbing on this "Space Net" and went pretty high, he was so proud of himself! We also went to a graduation party for our friend Greg and his fiancee Kate. Congrats to them. He is also getting very independent. I have moved all his stuff down to the bottom drawer so we can get his own pajamas, undies and socks. He loves to match his socks too! He is getting so big. Now he is going to "Madgee" (Nemadji) with his Daddy and its all he is talking about!

Its called Spark People. Its a great diet and weight loss tool. And the best part, its 100% FREE! You can track everything you eat, it gives you a exercise program +videos, recipes, meal plans and community support. They have blogs and chat rooms so you can find people like you! I have only been doing it since Monday but already am loving it! I haven't explored the site that in depth either. Try it out! I have found i eat no protein! I really don't eat that many carbs either. I eat a lot of fruits and veggies.

We had a fun weekend! Jessica graced us with her presence on Friday(twice!). On Saturday we drove to Menomonie to see my sister in the STOUT Fashion Show. That was fun. A lot of funky outfits and girls with attitude. Afterwards we went to a Chipolte type place called Burrachos. Hayden decided he wanted to walk like the models, he put his hands on his hips, stuck out his belly, and took long strides. SO funny! What a little nut. We didn't even think he was paying attention, oh he always is. Sunday Daddy and Hayden headed out the Lake Nebagamon for a little fishing, but no luck for them. They both had an awesome time and they are really looking forward to the summer with lots more fishing. We went to my mom's Relay for Life Concert for a Cure. Hayden was rather impish, but my mom put him to sleep during the concert, he was so tired from fishing. Monday was Papa Smith's birthday. Hayden and Smith made him a cake, he was very proud. We don't have to much planned for the week. Jason's friend is getting married on Wednesday and Saturday is their reception. He is marrying someone i have know since 7th grade. They have been together almost as long as Jason and I. Actually on Thursday is our "anniversary" of when we first started dating. 6 years we have been together. Crazy. We are officially heading to Arizona on May 25th. We are so excited. Jason will get to go Golfing and I will get to play with baby Breckin, who has yet to be born. We are anxiously waiting on summer. Anyone have any great summer plans??
