Sesame Street Live here we come!

Okay, I HATE things with characters on them. I never put them on Hayden, unless they are super cute. Jammies are one thing. I also don't do light up. But i broke down and bought Hayden an Elmo sweatshirt, and Zoe for Jessica! It just seemed appropriate for him to wear it to the show on saturday. I snapped a picture of them with Hayden's help! He loves to take pictures.

Hayden can not wait to go to Jess's house. All week long that's all he has talked about. He got really mad at me today when i told him he was going to Jake's house. He started crying and said "No, I want to go JESS's house!" But he knows we are going tomorrow, so he wants to go to Jake's now.
I am excited because i get to go to IKEA! Yeahhhh. But there really isn't anything i need. But that usually doesn't stop me. I am going to look at some pictures for my walls. I also think we are going to try and get a Wild Rumpus stop in, since we didn't make it last weekend. The kid doesn't need anymore books, wait no you can always need more books! But its the experience there. I also hope the kids get a lot of playing in!
Wish us luck for a quick, peacefully ride there and back. And that Elmo isn't too insane. For the mommy and daddy's sake! Have a great weekend!

Wanted!

Wanted: Lots of pictures from Jessica's Birthday Weekend. Pictures of Cookie Monster, Princess Jessica, and Hay Hay. Will pay with disc for photo burning. Please help!

Okay. I very very stupidly left my memory card at home in my computer this weekend! I was SO mad. I brought a ton of extra batteries and everything, but no card! So if anyone can help me out i would really really appreciate it.

We had SOOOO much fun. Jessica was great! She was so in to her presents and party, and no tears! She tried on most of her clothes as she opened them, too cute! She is such a little girl. Hayden spent most of the party attached to Jessica's kitchen. He loves to play kitchen. It has all sorts of buttons and doors Hayden's favorite! If i could only talk Jason into buying one for Hayden!

The waterpark/hotel was a blast. Hayden decided this weekend that he can swim, by himself, for like 2 feet. But he finally was able to balance in the water and keep his head above and kick! He is such a fish. He has always loved water from day 1. One of my favorite NICU moments was the first time they let me give him a bath. He just was calm and cooed. The nurse said she had never seen anything like it and called a few other nurses over to see. He is just a natural in the water. Then he was water sliding like crazy. He didnt even go down with us at all, it was all by himself. Up and down up and down. Grandpa chased him a lot! Then when we were in the pool area guess who came in. Cookie Monster! That was pretty cool. He wasnt so sure but he has been talking about it since. We just had so much fun. It was pretty relaxed and just had fun!

The ride home was a breeze too, Hayden fell asleep before we ever got on the freeway and slept until we got home. Then my parents took him sliding at Valhalla in Washburn. He loved it! He even went alone. So i guess I'll be going sliding this year! (I am not a huge fan, i ache for DAYS afterwards! And i always seem to hit the biggest most unwanted bump and go flying through the air. fun huh!) But i hope everyone else had a great weekend we sure did. And we can't wait until next weekend when we get to see "Elmo Live in Concert"

Okay, we know that it's only been since saturday since we saw Jessica. But we just can not wait to see her on saturday. She is turning 2 on friday. Happy Birthday Jessica! They are having a party for her and then we are going to be staying at the very cool waterpark/hotel in Minneapolis, Depot-Courtyard. YEAH! It is going to be lots of fun! We really don't have much going on this week, again. That's okay! My mom is in New York for work and of course Hayden asks every two minutes where she is! We brought her to the airport this morning and boy did Hayden FREAK out. He wanted to go in so bad. But we had to go! I had to get ready for work. But on Friday we're going to go and pick her up and i'll let him come in! But its pretty cute, he says "Nana Airplane" he told me that its "Hayden's Airplane, No Nana." Sooooo i just think we need to go on an airplane ride, right Jas! Hayden also went to Angie's house today, and LOVED it! Jacob was there waiting for him. He calls him My Hayden. He is so cute. When we got in the house he took Hayden in his room but he told him he was sorry it was not clean! How cute is that! Here are a few pics i threw on!

Wow!

Oh my goodness! We had a HUGE turn out for Hayden's birthday party. I just did an official count, 49 people in our little house! That's crazy. Everyone just about came to the party. I hope everyone had a good time, even though it was a little nuts here. Hayden did. I do however feel bad for Hayden. He woke up this morning and wanted it to be his birthday again. He kept bringing me the matches(oops!) and saying "Hayden, Happy Birthday". So i lit one of my candles and sang to him, that seem to make him happy. Auntie Renee gave Hayden a tee shirt, that says I'm Two, You've been warned. But I put it on him to take a few pictures and he told me that he got that for his birthday party. He was excited. Poor Jess isn't going to have a birthday this year. Hayden decided it is not her turn it's his again! So she'll just have to stay 1 for another year. Sorry Jessica!

We really had a good time. It was a lot of people and a lot of work but worth every minute. It's great to have pretty much all the family together. All the boys plus Jessica played so well. She is so cute! She had gotten a hair cut with bangs and looks SO cute! Not like she could have been any cuter as it was.

Grandpa Mike had a big oops at the party! He spilled on my new couch! Cranberry Raspberry punch. But THANKFULLY i bough a massive bottle of cleaner and all is well now. Its came completely out, lucky for him!

Well Thanks everyone for coming and the super nice gifts, he can't get enough of them, all of them! He sees one and drops the other, and this has been continuing since he opened them!

"Ohhhh Nice Couch"

Not much as happened this week. I have been busy getting ready for the party. Have i mentioned that Hayden has A LOT of toys? I have been going through his toys. Everything BIG got put in the basement until after the party. Then hopefully i'll filter it up. Hayden is excited about his party, my mom asked him what he wanted and he told her cake. When i was teaching him about birthdays i always associated cake with it, so that's what he thinks, still.
On Saturday we got our new furniture. Hayden came in the house, didn't even notice the furniture all still wrapped up in plastic wrap! Finally after a few minutes he hopped on the plastic couch and went "Ohhhh Nice Couch" and hopped off. It was cute! He does not like Mommy's new rules about eating on the couch, none. He gets mad at me, but we are adjusting.
