The duration of my pregnancy was long. It wasn't hard. I enjoyed being pregnant and never complained. But the wait to meet my little baby was so incredibly loooong. But now 18 months after I found out, Carson is 9 months old. I can't believe how fast this 9 months went. Its crazy. We went to the Dr Maria today and found out Carson has a ear infection(he doesn't complain or seem to notice!) he weighs 20 pounds 6 oz and is 28 3/4 inches long. Wow.(75% and 50%)

Carson can clap, do so big(just started this yesterday!), play peek a boo and says "Hay". He doesn't really sign more but has made the MA sound a few times lately while eating. On the subject of eating Carson does a lot of it! He pretty much eats everything. And loves it! He is crawling crazily, pulling himself up and walking on furniture. He walks behind is Ergo Walker and anything else that will move(laundry baskets, chairs, his leapfrog table).

Carson has 3 teeth joining his lonely 2 bottom teeth, he bites hard. Little stinker has bite me twice now while nursing, it hurts! He loves, loves to play with his toys. He will play for an hour without slowing down or needing his mama! He does however find anything and everything he isn't suppose to and eat it! We had an incident with a little magnet that resulted in many manhunts being thrown away! He really likes cars and trucks. And his balls...lots of different toys with balls. I found him standing on top of Hayden's train bin this week too.

He is now out of his infant carrier(because Mom's back was hurting!) and likes his new rear facing seats. He talks and talks to us in the car. He will repeat noises I make at him too.

He is growing leaps and bounds! We love you Carson!

Random Tidbits....

*Carson has been signing more...but only in the morning when he wakes up.
*Carson says "Hay" to yup Hayden.
*Carson doesn't say anything related to or sounding like Mom.
*Carson says "Dada" but not at Daddy.
*Hayden has two little girl friends at Preschool and was very, very excited to see them and talked about them the whole way to school today.
*Carson is walking well with his push walkers!

We had Hayden's big birthday bash on Saturday! We were lucky two years in a row on weather. Granted it wasn't the 30 degrees it was last year but it was still like 20 with no wind....we'll take it! I think we had about 45 people here and feasted on cake/cupcakes, meat and buns, chili(made by my mom!), soup(made by Mike and Rae Ann!), chips and veggies. It was all so good. Hayden received so many wonderful gifts. He had a blast sledding, as did I! My body is a little sore today however. I pulled two kids up the hill most times I went up....that's a lot of work!! Carson has had a little cold(with a nasty barking cough at night...croup I imagine) so he had to stay inside and nap with Nana holding down the fort. He did indulge a little bit on Callie's cupcake too! Now for the pictures....
