Hayden's 2!!! Yeah 2!!!

My baby is two. I can't believe it, it really can't be possible. To me he is my baby, but to the rest of the world he is a little boy, and a toddler. Where does the time go? I was telling Jason that I never want to have more kids, because I want Hayden to always be my baby! But anyways , I am done pouting. We had the most wonderful Christmas(es), and Birthday. Hayden was EXCELLENT, all day long. I don't think he cried once all day long. We woke up at 6:00, Mommy was a little excited too, so when Hayden woke up I really didn't let him go back to sleep. He woke up with a big smile on his face, as i told him "Happy Birthday". Then we talked about Christmas and Santa(Tanta). Then the big moment, he remembered Tanta had come and was suppose to bring him a choo-choo train. Good thing that Tanta was on top of things! Hayden woke up to his BIG Train table. After 10-20 minutes playing with that, we finally got him to open some presents. He loved his stocking, Tanta also brought him "Nacks" in his stocking.(A whole box of Fruit Snacks, Target Brand Multi Fruit are his favorites, not Elmo, Scooby-Doo, or Gushers, my son likes the Target Brand!) He likes his new boots too. Hayden loves boots, and I really don't know why. Then it was off to my moms.

Stop #1: Moe Family House. 8:30 am. Open presents. Then we opened more presents, and then more! We all received very very nice items. Ranging from Mission Paintball(Jason's), New Jacket(Kasie's), and another train set(Hayden's). Lots in between too. Brandon was given Guitar Hero from Santa, a big hit with Brandon and Jason! My husband is a BIG kid at heart! That's why I love him.

12:00 pm. My mom made us a HUGE lunch. All Italian food. It was super. Olive Garden has nothing on her. We have discovered a great market/restaurant in Duluth, the Italian Village. She made an awesome Salad, 2 lasagnas(spinach and meat), penne, meatballs, sausage, Ravioli, Sauce, Garlic bread, and wine. It was so good. Thanks Mom!

1:15 pm. Stop #2. Mike and RaeAnn's. Same thing pretty much. Lots and lots of presents, and great food. The whole Smith family came over at 3:00. It was nice to see everyone and wish them a Merry Christmas, and Happy Hayden Birthday. Hayden of course got lots of nice things. Gram Smith gave him super nice jammies and ELMO dvds. We had a very lovely time out there. I didn't think i could eat one more bit there everything was excellent. We all sang Happy Birthday to Hayden and he loved it. It's what made his day i think! I'll just sing Happy Birthday everyday to keep him happy. We relaxed a bit with a yummy Tom and Jerry's before heading out.

6:30 Stop #3. Mum Moe's House. Food, Food, Food. More eating! Ahhh. Tradition is to go there and watch old videos. We didn't pull out the super old ones but we watch when all the kids were young. They all seemed to enjoy seeing that. I of course was silly on every tape since i loved being the center of attention. Hayden played with his favorite big cousin, Kaitlin or Katie Kate. She takes very good care of him, and he can never get enough of her. It was a quick visit but relaxing! I think all the kids were worn out!

9:00 pm. Home. Finally. Hayden played Choo-Choo, bathed, and went to bed!!!! Opened a few more presents from Jas and I too! We had a great day! Thanks to everyone for making it so special. It really means a lot to us. Before you take your tree down, remember how long you've had it up. What's the rush? The Christmas season doesn't stop at Christmas Day. Don't pull the plug yet. Enjoy the rest of season, without the rush and worry. Stop and remember what its all about! Merry Christmas to all!
Pictures to come tomorrow!

The slideshow thing is great. Hayden is so much fun and even more on the holidays. Nothing beats rocking a baby to sleep. He sure loves trains.
Don't only child my grandson. He wants siblings just not for a while. PaPa
