Most of you know that yesterday was my birthday. Hayden woke up and said "Happy Mama Birthday!" So cute i know! But today we were driving and I said "Do you know whose birthday its going to be in a couple days?" He of course said "Mama's Birthday!" I told him no not Mama's birthday, its going to be Hayden's birthday. He responded to this with "Hayden's turn birthday!" But we have had a lot of birthdays this last month, the poor kid has had it, its Hayden's Turn! Only 3 more days until its Hayden's Turn!
Merry Christmas!

Gingerbread, Presents, and Bowling

Hayden and Nana on Saturday. Grandpa and Grandma Routh gave each of the kids a gift. It was very nice. Each kid got something they really seemed to like. Good shopping guys! Hayden LOVES his. He got a Little People's garage/carwash. It was a gas pump and he likes to give all of his Little People's cars some gas, like Daddy does to Mommy's car.

On Sunday we went to Jason's work christmas party at Landmark Lanes. Hayden was so cute. He has gone bowling a few times before, but he used a ramp? to help roll the ball down he lane. He ended up getting 70-80 both games! Daddy of course did really well too! He kicks butt at bowling.

At our Routh's Christmas party, all the kids got little gingerbread men to decorate. Hayden didn't decorate it until monday. I took a few pictures. He did discover about half way through that the frosting taste REALLY good and then just kept licking his fingers!

Well not much has happened this week! Oh on monday Mike, Rae Ann, Laura, and Michael gave me a surprise birthday party. It was very nice. We had a very nice dinner and a very yummy cake. Hayden even told me Happy Birthday a few times. Thanks again for the nice gifts. I also put a new option on our blog that you can leave comments without registering(i hope). So please leave us a comment or two. We'd love to hear from everyone. Christmas is almost here! And Birthdays! Also Hayden's Birthday party will be the second weekend in January(99% sure!).
Merry Christmas to All.
PS..Only one month until Jessica's Birthday(yesterday)

Baaa Baaa

On Saturday we celebrated Christmas with the Routh family. We had a lot of fun. The Aunties put together a Nativity Play. Hayden, Ben(2 1/2), Jacob (3), and Ethan (2) were the sheep. They stole the show. Everyone but Hayden came out crawling and baaing. Hayden was crawling, saw my mom and yelled "Nana, Nana". Then they all just wondered around the "stage" until the end. But they had everyone laughing so had. They were way too cute. Ethan, my cousin Nathan's son, is 9 days older than Hayden. They were playing and standing next to each other. Hayden was a whole head taller then Ethan, he only came up to Hayden's shoulders. It was funny, my baby looked like a giant. Ethan is just a peanut though, and so funny. He has the cutest personality ever. I asked him if he wanted to play, and he looked me right in the face and said "Noooooo." We all had a great day. It was so nice to see everyone it's hard to get the family together.

Poor Josh, he got attacked by sheep!
Ethan, Jacob(on Josh), Hayden, Ben

I have a little sheep and his name is Hayden. Baaa Baaa.

Toddlers gone wild

Last night we went to Park Point and walked around the christmas lights, at the Duluth's light contest winner. It's amazing. Its so elegant and almost simple. She only uses white and green lights. I don't know if it was the lights, water, or just being outside, but Hayden went wild. He was in hypermode. He ran through the whole place like 5 times. The pictures with the Imagine sign have a funny story. I parked him infront of the sign to take his picture. Thats the last picture. But everytime we went pass the sign, he'd stop and make me take his picture. I have 4 pictures. Then the previous picture, Hayden had to show Daddy how to pose for Mommy, and then i had to take his picture too. Silly Boy. It was great, i recommend everyone going up there and see the great lights.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to everyone. I didn't know my mom's letter would bring so many visitors. Thanks for looking at our blog. We are glad that everyone can see how big Hayden was gotten over the last 2 years. We just started this last month, so take a look at the back blogs, there aren't too many. Happy Holidays.

Wow! We had an awesome day! Hayden was in the best mood. We had so much fun. I love it when I can go a whole day without yelling at him, or punish him. It just makes life better. We had a blast. He was playful and helpful and very very loveable. He would just run up to be and say "BIG HUG" and then give me a hug. It just melts my heart. We went shopping for a few things and then went to OCB for dinner.(We like it there because he always eats! They have his fav, Corn Bread!) When we pulled up to the Mall he saw Barnes and Noble. Do you know what they have? Thomas the Train Table. He OF COURSE remembers this. So we told him if he was a good boy, we'd go there after dinner. He was a SUPER good boy at dinner. He ate mostly carrots!!?? Turkey, cornbread, and meatballs (other fav). For dessert he thought he wanted cheesecake, one bite of that was all he took. He's not a big fan of funny textures. So I got him an orange sherbet cone. Boy did he like that. Orange is his color of choice for everything, but it must of tasted good too! There was a baby next to us, and he kept trying to share with the baby. He was giggling up a storm, because we'd say "no gross!" So after we left he wanted to go to Hayden's House, we didn't get very far. We got in the car drove down 3 aisles and he spotted B&N. So in to the trains we went! He loves Trains! I just wanted to share a day where he was good. In the mix of all the days, the bad ones seem to stick the most. Today I truly enjoyed being the mother of a toddler, we had so much fun!

I took this last summer in Brainerd at Paul Bunyan Land.
I love the light in the pictures.
