As many of you know I love to save money! And with Carson on the way my spending isn't exactly equalling my saving! But I've found a few ways to save money which is quickly adding up to savings.

Kmart lately about once a month is offering double manufacturer's coupons up to $2.00. Which is HUGE on diapers! I've been saving $3.00 a pack on Pampers and Huggies. I can't seem to find $2.00 off coupons for diapers, only $1.50! But I bought 3 packs this week of diapers with the price per diaper just under .16 per diaper. Kmart also had diapers on sale this week, which are the normal Target diaper prices, but Target can't beat the doubled coupons!

I also have been signing up with all the baby companies to receive their newsletters and coupons which equal free samples too! I've received 2 full sized formula cans and 1 smaller size. Plus 2 one day samples. I do plan on breastfeeding for a while, but I know I won't for a whole year.

Also I've recently found out that a company will send you a check for .75 per pack of Huggies and $1.00 per pack for pullups(Hayden uses at night still) you must have at least 5 receipts and then they'll send you your check! I don't have 5 yet(I can't find a few of my receipts!) so I'll report back when I do. But saving another .75 per pack that brings my diaper prices down to .145 per diaper!

I also am a firm believer in store brands! Except for laundry detergent and dishwasher soap, I'm a total brand snob on these products! I love Tide and my clothes show it or not actually!!!! Jason has been our resident dishwasher and he was using 2 packets of the store brand in the dishwasher and it wasn't getting the job do until i started buying Electrsol(sp?) tablets(i think!!). I should totally be getting paid by these companies for name dropping!!! On website i frequent it showed the savings between buying name brand and Target brands this week and the savings before coupons was 46.7% savings. Thats a lot!

Any other ideas and tips on saving money would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hey there,

A great site for matching up your coupons to the current sales for the best prices is hotcouponworld.com.

At times it can be a bit of a daunting task to find the best deals, but HCW makes it considerably easier. They have forums for many stores where people will post the current ads and the coupons that are available to make the sale prices even better.

They also have a coupon database where you can search for products and see what coupons are circulating. I use it quite a bit to find out if there are IPs (Internet printables) available for products that we need.
